Description
Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp is looking for a versatile and self-motivated individual who wants to assist in all facets of running a boot camp fitness company. We have been featured in International media and pride ourselves on getting our clients to their goals through fitness, nutrition and motivational support.We work hard but have fun doing it. The right candidate enjoys working independently, thinks creatively and has a go-getter problem solving attitude, while having a sense of humor.
While the internship is unpaid, free participation in programs is happily offered.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary and include:Development of marketing strategies for various workout and nutrition programs
Data entry
Manage and ship online DVD orders
Sourcing supplies and samples from established and new vendors
PR - Communication with media
Scouting out new sales outlets for DVD
Social media management
Email management
Errands (post office, office supplies, etc)
Development of marketing materials
Assist in streamlining daily operations
Producing newsletters
Researching recipes
Work hours are flexible. About 10 hours a week.
Requirements
The right candidate enjoys being a problem solver, isn't shy about contacting the media with proposals, enjoys engaging with companies that provide us with nutrition samples, is well-versed in social media (blogger, facebook, pinterest) and wants to be a valuable asset to running the daily operations and taking the company to the next level.Experience or strong interest in marketing, advertising, business, and public relations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent command of the English language
internet research skills essential
Creative and independent problem solver
Knowledge of Facebook, Blogger, Pinterest, Yelp and other online forums essential
Graphic design skills a definite bonus
Sense of humor is a must
