Associate Engineer - DTBookmark This
Entry Level position that performs routine technical work requiring the application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks under direct and frequent supervision. Assignments are designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities. No responsibility for direction of others.
-Analyze, design, and specify natural gas transmission/distribution systems
-Frame engineering/operational problems and propose solutions
-Monitor system performance
-Prepare basic cost estimates for cost-benefit analysis
-Prepare basic written procedures to facilitate construction, maintenance, and operation of the transmission/distribution systems
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
-Experience in the natural gas industry preferred.
-Experience with GIS software preferred.
-Proficient with MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred.
-MBA or financial course work preferred.
-Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer applications applicable to specific work field/discipline.
-Must have a valid driver's license, provide a suitable automobile for use on Company business, and meet Company driving standards.
-Ability to work individually and in a team.
-Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with people at all levels both within and outside the company.
-Effective in self-management of time with a demonstrated personal commitment to work.
