About the Job:
B-Hive Travel is seeking a motivated intern looking for Sales & Marketing Experience in the Travel Industry. These intern positions will focus on Marketing and Development of the B-Hive Travel site. They will develop strategies, implement plans, analyze campaign performance and communicate directly with clients. This position is located in our Overland Park Office, is 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility around intern’s class schedule. Short’s Travel Management and B-Hive Travel promotes from within and this position eventually could lead to advancement into a paid position in operations or sales.
Responsibilities
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Marketing: manage and grow B-Hive’s presence through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other strategically relevant platforms
Strategy and Planning: create strategies and plans, provide timely feedback, participate in brainstorms and provide suggestions for improvements on all marketing campaigns.
Client Relations: own relationship with all b-hive accounts providing excellent timely customer service.
Sales: Provide information on B-Hive’s services to potential new clients via the telephone and email and assist team with sales process where applicable
Requirements

Must be able to work in fast paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Must be focused and goal oriented
Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
Previous inside sales/telemarketing experience a plus but not a requirement
Excellent computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office required
