DescriptionWithin this position you will:
-Review status of delinquent accounts.
-Initiate collection actions, prioritizing according to due date, following FDCPA guidelines
-Contact and interact with delinquent borrowers/members by phone (auto dialer), using a professional and customer service oriented manner, in an attempt to persuade them to cure their loans (reduce mortgage delinquency)
-Obtain reason for delinquency
-Review relevant information and offer all available possible options, conveying information effectively
-Listen to questions and concerns and respond in a timely manner
-Record information regarding status of collection efforts.
-Other duties/projects as assigned.
To qualify, you must possess:
-1-2 years collection call center experience
-Auto dialer experience preferred
-Professional communication skills, with a sense of urgency
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to meet goals in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment
-Ability to work flexible hours
Training will be for 7 weeks, M-F 6pm-10pm. However the position will be part-time 20 hours. Schedules will be as follows:
A: Mon, Tues, Fri 6-10 and Sat 8:30-5
B: Mon, Wed, Fri 6-10 and Sat 8:30-5
C: Mon, Thur, Fri 6-10 and Sat 8:30-5
