Description
The Kwon Laboratory at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston (http://www.ragoninstitute.org/research_kwon.html) has an opening for a highly motivated intern to assist us in the study immune responses against HIV occurring in mucosal tissues. The person will work under the supervision of Dr. Kwon helping to conduct patient-oriented translational research characterizing a unique set of individuals called “HIV controllers”- people who are able to control their HIV infection in the absence of antiretroviral therapy.
Responsibilities
-Assist research students and postdoctoral fellows with experiment design and execution
-Assist with laboratory upkeep
