Description
Content Producer will learn how to create daily online written or video content to present various topics relevant to the BakitWhy audience, which is a online content provider for Filipino and Filipino American lifestyles. They work closely with the Director of Content while also proactively seeking feeds and trends in order to regularly provide consistent and engaging content for the worldwide BakitWhy audience.
Responsibilities
- Intensely follow trends in Fil-Am related news and stories
- Post at weekly blog in their dedicated section
- Write entertainment news short-form articles every week
- Share (re-post or re-tweet) BW posts to your own personal network through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.
- Attend weekly BW Content team meetings
- Attend quarterly team meetings.
Requirements
- An established online following through Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, or a combination of the three.
- Excellent writing ability; college-level writing experience
- Solid interpersonal skills, experience working with the Filipino-American community.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently use email and online calendar tools (Google Apps)
- Experience using blogging and social media sharing tools
- Video production experience a plus
