Description

Are you outgoing, personable and friendly? Our marketing team is offering fun brand ambassador positions. You would get the opportunity to work with different businesses around Austin like Google that sponsor fun events throughout the year like the Pecan Street Festival and Keep Austin Weird Fest & 5K. This is a great way to use your people skills to make money! The hours are flexible depending on the event, and the pay is no less than $10 per hour.

We have an event coming up May 4th and 5th for Google. They will have an area set up and their goal ultimately is to have people interact with you, the brand ambassador, and have them review Google +.

Days and times are below. Each day will be broken down into 3-4 hour shifts.

Saturday, May 4th: 9:00AM-10:30PM

Sunday, May 5th: 10:00AM-8:30PM

Responsibilities

Working these events would require the ability to actively engage with event attendants through conversation and demonstration of the product/service and effectively use promotional techniques for the brand. Those who have sales, marketing and teamwork experience are preferred. Working this event will lead to many more promotional positions in the future.

Requirements

Job Requirements:
Previous promotional and/or event marketing experience preferred
Sales mentality and/or previous sales experience a plus
Previous experience working in a team environment
Can lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
Candidates must have excellent communication and people skills, be natural problem solvers, and be clean and professional in appearance
Able to work independently with little or no supervision
Able to stand and talk for entire shift
Friendly and outgoing personality is a must!!
