The Business Analyst is responsible for but not limited to:
The Business Analyst plays a role in Business Problem Solving and has the ability to take ambiguous, complex business problems using research plus business assessment capabilities to define the problem, drive innovative ideas, define the requirements, and recommend actionable next steps.
The team is looking for a self-driven individual with very strong business analysis skills to drive technology solutions aligned with CVS/Caremark's business strategies. This Business Analyst role with CVS/Caremark's Strategic Solutions group is driven by a vision “to improve the quality of human life” and a mission to improve the lives of those we serve by making innovative and high-quality health and pharmacy services safe, affordable and easy to access. Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications for the Business Analyst Position: 2+ years of relevant technical or business work experience. Knowledge of MS Word and Visio Exceptional written and verbal communications skills to prepare and deliver organized understandable presentations to project teams. Ability to produce concise, clear, and complete business requirements documentation. Effectively plan and communicate the plan for successful completion of the requirements phase Experience conducting requirements sessions with large groups by conference call required. Contribute to all aspects of requirements definition and management execution activities for SDLC projects. Demonstrate the ability to understand customers’ business needs, and develop, present and discuss IS solutions and scenarios that solve customers’ business problems. Ensure Traceability, Quality Assurance and Configuration Management for requirements through the SDLC and across the team. Proactively communicate and collaborate with design and development personnel to ensure understanding and adherence with customer requirements. Decompose, refine and document requirements using a variety of graphical and textual techniques, to include Use Case Scenarios and Diagrams, Functional Requirements Specifications, Activity and Process Diagrams. Provide guidance with the development of test plans as well as assist the business with development of user acceptance criteria. Experience supporting projects and concurrent projects Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications for the Business Analyst Position: Healthcare - Pharmaceutical Benefits Management or MCO (Managed Care Organization) experience is preferred Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is a plus. MS Excel Education:
