Description
Established, well respected, forward thinking, woodworking company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is looking for an Intern to create a thoroughly researched and company specific Standards and Procedures Policy Book. Designer’s Specialty Millwork has a 17 year history of successfully completed commercial projects throughout the Southeastern United States including the Ritz Carlton, Fountainbleau II and III, W South Beach Night Club, Darden Corporate Headquarters, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, and the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel at the Met 2. Most recent awards feature The Florida Marlins Ballpark in Miami and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando.
Responsibilities
The policy and procedure guide is designed to explain company policy and procedure framework, to help policy and procedure owners organize their written documentation. Intern will guide the process and act as a resource as the company formulates a base line policy and procedure guideline in preparation for ISO 9000 Certification and FSC Certification. Company procedures will include standards from the AWI Quality Certification which DSM has already successfully achieved
Requirements
Successful candidate should be a Third or Fourth Year College Student, or Advanced Degree Graduate Student in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance or Other Related Field. Candidate will receive a flat rate stipend for the work for the full exercise.
