Job Duties Responsibilities GEICO’s IT Sales System Development Team is looking to hire a creative Systems Analyst to be part of a dynamic team whose mission is to transform GEICO’s Sales System into The Best Digital Insurance Sales Experience in the market. The successful candidate will have a good technical background with business aptitude and a desire to enact change in the customer facing space. The candidate also must possess innovative thinking skills and have a laser-like focus on deliverables. Candidate Qualifications * Ability to think creatively.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing or similar program(s).
* Experience in requirements elicitation methodology, SDLC, Agile methodology, Business and Systems Analysis, and root cause analysis.
* Familiarity with Requirements Management tools
* Ability to construct solid Use Cases and Business Cases, succinctly.
* Ability to work independently, conduct comprehensive reviews and analyze internal business processes in areas such as New Customer Sales
* Proficiency in using the MS Office suite, including Visio, for analysis and communication.
* Ability to draft high quality documents and information with minimal revision (e.g., Requirements, Test plans, Process flows).
* Ability to interface with peers as well as higher levels of management Important Position Details Additional Skills/Knowledge Desired:

* Working and demonstrative knowledge of SQL, multi-tiered .net applications, and complex interfaces
* Experience in writing project plans using MS Project, Excel or Word.
* Ability to interpret and implement data findings creatively in a variety of formats.
* Familiarity with Insurance/Financial Services is a plus but not required.
