Currently, Kelly IT Resources in search of a Sr. Business Systems Analyst – SD and Logistics
About the position:This position works closely with all business groups and application developers to facilitate the development, design, and support of business-critical applications in SAP in the SD/Logistics Execution areas. The Business Systems Analyst communicates effectively orally and in writing with all internal and external customers in order to perform the duties of the position.
Required minimum knowledge, skills, education/training, experience, physical obligations:· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field· At least 5 years experience with IT business application systems· At least 5 years experience in R3 post implementation work with an emphasis on:o trouble shooting business application pr3wroblems and coordinating changes to SAP based on OSS findingso researching and implementing new functionality as well as enhancing existing functionality· Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of order to cash technical architecture and cross- application touch points· Ability to demonstrate expertise with SD/Logistics Execution areas from delivery creation through invoicing· Ability to create functional specifications to meet objectives of requirements studies· Ability to plan and organize work to achieve job objectives and set priorities among activities· Ability to effectively manage changing priorities and unforeseen events· Ability to assume responsibility for completion of one's own work and meet deadlines
Preferred minimum knowledge, skills, education/training, and experience, physical obligations:· 1 full life cycle implementation of SAP modules
ESSENTIAL DUTIES· Provides technical support to business users by translating business requirements into technical solutions as well as translating complex technical concepts into business language· Configures system to meet business needs in accordance with established standards· Designs must consider existing configurations and identify possible conflicts between proposed and existing configurations· Negotiates solutions before changes are implemented· Ensures all configurations are well documented and update documents as changes are made· Tests system changes and coordinate end user acceptance testing and sign off· Develop overall system design and prototypes of major system components· Performs other duties as assigned
