DescriptionPrimary Purpose: The role of thislimited term12 months(one year) position is to coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day operations of a project testing a Palliative Care intervention to improve care in CPMC's Medical Intensive Care Unit. The role will entail coordination of project implementation, protocol development, project planning, team management, project tracking, and data collection and assisting in the creation of final reports and publications. Supervision: Reports to the Chief Administrative Officer, Davies Campus and Vice President Neurosciences and Post Acute, with day-to-day supervision from the Chief of the CPMC Palliative Care Program.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Health Services Research, Health Policy, Hospital Administration, or related field or demonstrated comparable expertise and experience. KNOWLEDGE: Excellent organizational and analytic skills. Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation experience. Ability to handle and safeguard sensitive /confidential information. Self-starter with strong organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to work with multiple priorities. Ability to work effectively with a broad range of physicians, employees, consultants and vendors to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment is required. Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and accuracy required. EXPERIENCE: Two years' experience in a professional environment Demonstrated experience with organizing research, quality improvement, or other projects within a large organization. Experience with database management is required.
