A considerable reputation is being obtained in highly successful investigative matters to become today one of the best known and respected private investigation agency throughout the United States.GPS Investigations Group offers students who are enrolled in academic programs at accredited colleges and universities the opportunity for year-round for-credit internships. While many of our interns are enrolled in criminal justice programs, it is not a requirement. Interns learn how a private investigation business functions, and learn the correct methods for conducting various types of investigations.
Responsibilities
The internship is hands-on, and interns will work side-by-side with licensed investigators when doing research in the field. Interns will become knowledgeable in understanding legal documents and will be taught the necessary skills to conduct online research and interpret data base information.The experience aims to teach our interns to be more curious and analytical, and to follow the leads in an investigation. We are looking for team players that are excited by what we do and are ready to jump into a fast paced, task-oriented completion of projects. .

Accepted Criminal Justice interns will become a GPS Team Members, a unique group of charismatic, knowledgeable and sociable individuals whose goal is to provide investigative services. This can be a FUN internship given we build a loyal team.
Duties will also include assisting the PR, Marketing Team Interns with Marketing and Communications with a variety of tasks to acquire, maintain and improve business opportunities. The goal of your time spent at home or in your dorms will be to increase awareness of our company in various fields such as family law, criminal law, civil law and much more.
Social Events hours will be completed on location at various pre-determined spots around the DMV including various businesses, high traffic social areas, and special events to include some nightlife. The goal of your time spent on location will be to increase the company’s presence and network for future business and private client services in all areas of the law. CLEAN APPEARNCE IS A MUST!!!
Requirements
• Must own transportation• Must own a laptop or Computer
• Must participate in Facebook and Twitter and other social networks
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office
• Must love people
• Must be creative and innovative
• Must possess great attention to detail
• Must be a quick learner
• Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to provide
written reports as needed.
Please Note: We are an official licensed and bonded private detective agency and documentation can be submitted to aid in your internship approval. . However, each intern must assure they are following proper internship protocol to ensure they receive credit.
