HootSuite is a social media management system for businesses and organizations to collaboratively execute campaigns across social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+ Pages from one secure, web-based dashboard. Advanced functionality includes tools for audience engagement, team collaboration, account security and comprehensive analytics for end-to-end measurement and reporting.
Our flock is in search of Campus Ambassadors across the globe. Campus Ambassadors work directly with the Community Manager, Higher Education to help build and share HootSuite community on their university or college campus while gaining valuable and practical experience in social media, technology, and community building.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Organizing HootUps on or near campus to share HootSuite tips and tricks
- Spread HootSuite culture and grow your campus Community
- Encourage school clubs, student organizations, and local businesses to use HootSuite
- Liaise with businesses to share tips, tricks, case studies, and info sheets to help the best utilize HootSuite
- Reach out to professors about using HootSuite in the classroom
- Participate in a bi-monthly Twitter chat and Google Hangout with other Campus Ambassadors

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience participating in and organizing community events
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working independently
- Know social media tools and competitive landscape
- College-level English proficiency
- At least 1 month experience with using HootSuite
