The National Accounts group is responsible for securing and managing the mutual fund and separate account distribution relationships with key distributors across the industry. The group focuses on a channelized approach to account management. The Channel Associate role is a sales business support role with the opportunity for growth into an Associate Account Manager.
Specific Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Report to Channel Head to provide sales business management support for channel initiatives and client development
Provide client support
Develop presentation decks and materials to support channel plans/initiatives and illustrate progress within client’s distribution systems
Manage channel databases to ensure information is accurate and updated in a timely manor
Attend certain firm conferences as needed to represent Prudential Investments
Coordinate conference collateral and logistics with Marketing and Event Planning
Coordination of RFPs, sales presentations, collateral fulfillment contract process to ensure that all processes are moving on time and deadlines will be met. identify roadblocks and work with Account Managers to resolve.
Coordinate completion and distribution of new fund set up materials and maintain accurate database of status’ on each
Provide direction support to internal and external client sales desks. Ensure there is frequent ongoing interaction between National Accounts and the desk. This allows the sales desk to be equipped with information to drives sales at the FA level.
Summarize distribute research reports and themes
Candidate must be a motivated and energetic individual with strong project management skills
Understanding interest in capital markets, including an understanding of mutual funds and separate accounts
Detail oriented with ability to multi task mandatory
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Some travel required
3 -5 years experience in the Financial Services industry strongly preferred
BA/BS or equivalent experience required
Series 6 or 7 and 63 FINRA licenses preferred or required within 180 days of hire
