This position is virtual, any location is acceptable as long as communication/internet access is available. The internship involves learning how to compile a complete picture of a chemical-product industry. This involves development of market overviews, supply/demand statistics, import/export data, price data, capacity data and technology reviews.
Interns will learn market research techniques including statistic/fact finding, primary interviewing and business writing.
Our company was established in 1976 and we maintain and update profiles on 220 different chemicals.
Update two page Chemical Product Synopsis reports as assigned on time and with high quality. This includes utilizing both secondary (government and trade association statistics; literature) and primary (cold calling) sources.
Must have a degree with a medium to high level of chemistry content. Market research coursework is a plus.
Must be energetic self-starter with a passion for learning about chemicals and networking with the industry.
