DescriptionUndeclared Media, a Los Angeles and Orlando-based media company, is seeking an intern Cinematographer to join our fast growing team.
Undeclared Media is a creative media company focused on college media. Our company produces and syndicates content geared towards college students that is then broadcasted online and on college campuses. We have a very collaborative work environment where all ideas are welcomed and appreciated.
Being based in Los Angeles and Orlando, we are a virtual company where employees work from home. As a creative company, we want our employees to work where they are most inspired - whether that be their neighborhood Starbucks or their couch. Our interns have this same luxury, but are required to attend a weekly conference so that we can monitor their growth and development.
ResponsibilitiesInterns play a vital role in the day-to-day operations at Undeclared Media. With our company's primary focus being college media, we believe in providing as many opportunities for student development as possible. The Intern Cinematographer will work directly with our Creative Director on the development and production of web series, original programming, network bumpers, and more. Being a small company, the internship can be geared towards intern and his/her interests.
RequirementsInterested candidates should have prior cinematography and video production experience, with a passion for bettering their talents and creative works. Having your own camera, light kit, and/or other equipment is a plus! Students should be very proficient with modern DSLR cameras and have prior experience with lighting sets and setting up shots. Because this position works on location and remotely, the intern is required to be within comfortable driving distance of the Burbank, Hollywood and Central LA area. The cinematographer internship is geared towards students studying Film, Digital Media, Telecommunications, or any other related field. The internship is initially for a period of three months, but can be longer if the student wishes and is excelling.
