DescriptionClinical Quality Analyst - Hanover MD3-6 month contract opportunity - office based with the potential of work from home once a week after fully trained and comfortable with assignment.
SUMMARY: Responsible for developing, conducting, and analyzing quality studies according to criteria developed by management, external review organizations, and other regulatory agencies.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND Reasonability:
Conducts provider on-site audits researching provider clinical quality issues.
Develops and monitors corrective actions.
Completes quarterly progress/performance reports.
Maintains hospital quality database via requests for information and questionnaires.
Generates scorecards for each hospital.
Provides feedback to practitioners on performance.
SKILLS: Requires oral and written communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, PC skills, and research and analytical skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires an RN and 2-3 years clinical experience as well as managed care experience. BSN preferred. Travel required.
