We are looking for an intern interested in writing about various aspects surrounding Technology. This includes background on the subject matter and interviews in person or by telephone.
The first article would this Title: Does EMR Make Your Practice More Marketable?
(EMR stands for Electronic Medical Records, a very hot subject for doctors)
It is about patient perception of those practices that have EMR. Some of the questions I want to address: What kind of marketing advantage(s) does a practice with an EMR have over those that do not? Do patients feel those practices are more sophisticated and up-to-date even if the clinical expertise is the same? Why or why not? Should a patient's perception of this and other sophisticated technology be important to a physician practice even if they offer excellent service? How do you compete if you don't have an EMR - any strategies/tips? Why have practices been slow to adopt an electronic medical records system?
Responsibilities
- Write effective copy, excelling in correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Use alternate forms of communication (including graphic arts), resulting in improved interactions.
Requirements
- Possess skills at initiating innovative ideas and judging correctly what will appeal to target audiences.
