DescriptionEquestrian Quarterly is a high-end lifestyle magazine aimed at the equestrian community. The magazine will send its first issue to the newstands quite soon, and we are looking for interns throughout the country to attend equestrian events and to visit equestrian facilities to promote the brand, and ensure the proper distribution of the magazine at the venue. In addition, interns for Equestrian Quarterly will report back on horse show results, equestrian events and news of all types in their area, with the opportunity for some to have their writing published.
Responsibilities-Able to communicate with strangers on a professional level, at horse shows, clubs, events, and facilities.
-Able to gather and communicate information regarding the horse community in your area.
-Able to use a computer well, enough for writing emails, and possibly some work in Excel and Word.
-Have a personal interest in horses or in a specific equestrian discipline. We are especially interested in finding people who are active in polo, dressage, saddlebred, driving, endurance riding, barrel racing, and other non-English types of riding.
- Be fun and friendly! And part of a great team.
Requirements-Possess enthusiasm, charm, and good people-skills.
- An equestrian background is strongly preferred.
- Communicate effectively and professionally
- Responsible and accountable
- Able to work independently and without supervision
