Description

Intern will research current events as it relates to health and economics for women and gather information from various WIP contacts to include in monthly e-letter. The intern must be comfortable with incorporating and digitizing graphics, media etc…for published content and uploading files into e-letter. The intern will be expected to manage database with integrity and confidentiality. There will be expectations of working with the Office of Donor Relations and Marketing & Public Relations team to coordinate topics for Facebook, Twitter etc…and to grow interest in communication and organization. This position will report to the Officer of Donor Relations. *College Credit Available*

Responsibilities

- Write effective copy, excelling in correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. - Use alternate forms of communication (including graphic arts), resulting in improved interactions. - Edit and proof other team members written work and provide constructive feedback *Intern will work remotely from any location and need only a reliable Internet connection. All work will be approved via email prior to publishing

Requirements

- Possess skills at initiating innovative ideas and judging correctly what will appeal to target audiences. - Prefer challenges that involve communication, are people-oriented, promote networking and socializing, and include roles that call for imagination. - Comfortable with FB..may need to upload copy to this platform as well as send out to distribution list - Self- initiator and ability to complete projects with little direction
