Founded in 2002, Rabbis for Human Rights – North America (RHR-NA) is an organization of rabbis from all streams of Judaism who act on the Jewish imperative to respect and protect the human rights of all people. Grounded in Torah and our Jewish historical experience and guided by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we advocate for human rights in Israel and North America. We are proud to partner with Rabbis for Human Rights in Israel in our efforts to protect the human rights of Jews, Palestinians, and all others living in Israel and the Palestinian Territories. In our North American work, we are proud to partner with a range of Jewish, interfaith, and secular organizations that share our commitment to human rights.
Interns are responsible for supporting all online and print communications activities of Rabbis for Human Rights-North America. Interns may also support the organization’s advocacy work.
Responsibilities• Interns will recruit bloggers to write for RHR-NA’s blog and encourage bloggers to submit entries on an ongoing basis.
• Interns will edit blog entries.
• Interns will write content for RHR-NA’s blog and website.
• Interns will Tweet on behalf of RHR-NA.
• Interns will help create and test market new advocacy content for RHR-NA.
• Other duties as assigned.
Reports Directly to:
Director of Israel Programs
Eight hours per week minimum. Length of internship and hours are flexible. Winter and spring internships are available.
