Interns will assist Bring Back Main Street with the design, promotion, and implementation of our community outreach initiatives.We are working to help rebuild communities one block at a time as we work to Bring Back Main Street Street. Our Community Outreach Department engages in activities that are essential to maintaining and expanding our Bring Back Main Street Campaign by getting our message out and helping our candidate gain the support necessary to be maintain a sucessful political campaign.
Interns should be at ease approaching and talking to people of voting age with a variety of backgrounds in diverse settings. Interns should be out-going, personable, and enthusiastic. Familiarity with customer service, marketing, public speaking, or sales is preferred but not mandatory. This internship will require the individual to speak to thousands of voters individually at events
Individuals must have interest or experience in communications/marketing. Positions require general office work, including answering emails, preparing materials, and participation in daily operations. Interns must have strong organizational, writing, Internet, and communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Interns who are working towards a degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or political science are encouraged to apply.
