APPLY at www.centerstage.org/Education/ProfessionalInternshipProgram.aspx THE COMMUNITY PROGRAMS AND EDUCATION INTERN assists the education and community programs staff in administering and facilitating theater workshops, discussions, and trainings; organizing in-school residencies and visits; and maintaining department databases and archives. Applicants must show promise as a promoter, fundraiser, and advocate for CENTERSTAGE and theater education. Candidates need experience as both a theater and teaching artist; must work well and confidently with the public; and have excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.

ABOUT THE PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Graduating college seniors and recent graduates are invited to apply to CENTERSTAGE’s 2013-14 Professional Internship Program, which provides hands-on experience and professional guidance to early-career artists, craftspeople, and administrators. Interns at the Baltimore-based LORT B/C theater work full time from mid-August to early June, enjoying benefits that include free housing, a weekly stipend, networking opportunities, and professional development. OTHER INTERNSHIP DISCIPLINES Artistic Director; Artistic and Dramaturgy; Audience Relations; Audio; Carpentry; Company Management; Costumes; Digital Media; Graphics; Lighting; Management; Marketing/Public Relations; Production Management/Stage Management; Properties; Scenic Art; and Stage Management. Additional requirements: - Must commit full-time to one entire season at CENTERSTAGE from mid-August to early June - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience - Because of the time-consuming nature of securing visas for foreign students, we are unable to accept applications for non-US citizens
