Primary task would be to conduct sensitivity analyses of EnergyPlus models of commercial buildings. Work with an innovative team to develop commercial building modeling software. Many other tasks with databases, scripting, programming, research available depending on length of internship. Growing company with possibility of paid employment after 150 hours.
Work remotely fulltime, though with a lot of scheduling flexibility. Participate in web-based meetings, talk on the phone, and email constantly, often all at the same time. Participate in creating and executing your own work plan.
No hard requirements for coursework or experience, however you must possess strong, college-level math skills, an interest in and commitment to scientific study, and advanced and broad facility with computers. Experience with EnergyPlus and building science or physics is strongly preferred.
