Description
U.S. Representative Judy Biggert (R-IL) is seeking high school and college-age interns to work on her campaign for the new 11th Congressional District. Area communities include Lisle, Naperville, Aurora, and Joliet. The campaign staff allows students flexibility in setting their internship hours. Whether a student can work only a few hours or several days per week, he or she is encouraged to apply. The campaign will accept applicants for spring, summer, or fall periods.
Responsibilities
Interns are provided the opportunity to engage in a grassroots campaign effort, work with staff on special projects and events, and assist with general office duties.
Requirements
Candidates should be motivated, personable, and detail-oriented. They also must possess strong communication skills.
