We are a start-up consumer electronics / gaming product development company with several products currently selling in major online and B&M stores, and many many more currently in the works. Yup, you heard right, we're a hardware start-up. We develop products from the "aha" moment in the shower to market research, prototyping, testing, sourcing, mass production, distribution, and marketing/pr, under our own brands, as well as for larger brands, including major well-known consumer electronics giants. We're entrepreneurs, inventors, gamers, self-starters, lateral thinkers, problem solvers. We are looking for help from like-minded people. Because we are a small start-up, you will have the opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of the product development process, and you will be given many opportunities to contribute your original ideas to any/all aspects of the process. In turn you will be given a great deal of responsibility, and we will be relying on you and your work. Once you've proven yourself you will be given lots of independence - we hate to micromanage - with even the possibility of working from anywhere. We need someone to assist with, in the order of importance: Marketing/PR, Research, Sourcing, and Communications. You will NOT have to sell. Nearly all of your work will require only a PC, internet connection, and a phone. We need a commitment of 10-15 hours per week, with a stipend that works out to about $12 per hour.
