Myouterspace.com is a website dedicated to science fiction and the people and technology who create it. Myouterspace showcases the tools and talents behind film, television and video games.
Content Interns will be responsible for assisting the article and video content teams with research in film and tv, animation, graphic arts, music, video games, books and more. Looking for technical knowledge about entertainment, i.e., not just film criticism, but cinematography.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be independent, industrious and creative. This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate or graduate student with a strong interest in entertainment journalism, science fiction and fantasy in all media. You will get hands-on experience.
Please have flexible schedule. Working from home is a possibility, otherwise please have your own transportation to our Studio City location. Loving dogs a must.
Requirements included but not limited to:
• film studies, art, journalism, creative writing and/or has a strong interest in the technical side of filmmaking and video game production
• Blogging or other social media experience
• Detail oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Positive, can-do attitude
Paid freelance work may be available to the proven intern.
