Provide relationship and portfolio management support for assigned portfolio of loans in the General Restaurant Franchise Finance Division. Assists the Relationship Managers in pre-screening prospect customers and the Portfolio Managers in all phases of underwriting, documentation and closing new loans, as well as managing an existing portfolio.
The Senior Credit Analyst position is responsible for effective credit underwriting, financial analysis/modeling, risk evaluation, ongoing portfolio maintenance activities, and as needed client support for an assigned portfolio of existing restaurant finance credits.
The Senior Credit Analyst will assist the Portfolio Managers in developing and delivering presentations to senior management and at credit review and approval meetings.
Assures compliance with CFG commercial credit policy. Prepares underwriting documents for new credit transactions and gains approval.
Actively and effectively manages assigned portfolio including, but not limited to: tracking of delinquency, exceptions, matured loans, financial statement receipt and analysis, covenant compliance monitoring, annual review process, proper completion and validation of credit grading models, quarterly/monthly monitoring requirements, and needed modifications.
BA degree and/or Masters Degree preferred in Business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics preferred.
4 + years of experience and exhibited competency in financial analysis and credit structuring, understanding and applying credit policy, and credit monitoring and risk administration practices. Candidate is expected to have advanced level of credit experience and documentation experience in negotiating and documenting loans. Must demonstrate superior practical and conceptual knowledge of credit and risk analysis.
Highly developed communication skills; and ability to influence others by persuasively presenting thoughts and ideas to gain commitment and agreement for proposed ideas and solutions.
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
