ABOUT US: We are an educational, not-for-profit organization, which specializes in creating and managing service-learning programs for young people. Our most popular and best known program is the Penny Harvest, the largest child philanthropy program in the United States. The Penny Harvest is the flagship program for Mayor Bloomberg's Service in Schools Initiative. The program involves more than 400,000 students in 700 schools.
Intern projects will be related to corporate giving, prospect research, and database management, and writing. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience in corporate relations development and fundraising, all critical components of the long-term viability of any non-profit organization.

- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office suite and databases
- Flexibility and an ability to work independently and think strategically
- Interest in nonprofit sector
