If you’re someone who’s constantly gushing with creativity and always noticing how news and magazine materials or websites could be improved visually, then you’ve come to the right place. We need your assistance and offer a tremendous opportunity to display your graphic design knowledge and skills. International Policy Digest (IPD) is seeking an innovative graphic design intern who can create a visually appealing and informative approach to conveying complex and difficult issues. IPD provides leading expert commentary and analysis on vitally important topics from an international perspective that is provide by its global network of contributing writers. The publications primary focus is on international affairs, foreign policy, and geopolitics. While the power of the pen is undeniable, the power and simple purity of visual graphics can never be ignored. We are seeking a candidate who is interested in taking controversial, complex, and multifaceted commentaries on impactful global issues and making them visually digestible to even a casual reader, while also being informative and penetrating to skilled observers. The ability to create original Info charts, graphics, and visual elements is essential.

Requirements

Excellent visual design and layout judgment required. Creativity and the ability to convey factual elements with clarity is key. For the record, IPD does not use Comic Sans.
