Description
We are looking for leaders in the Greek community that are interested in being a part of our creative team on campus with The Odyssey. These positions are throughout the academic year (August 2013 - May 2014).We are looking for a diverse team of Greeks representing each house in the Greek system to create and manage the content production of The Odyssey on campus. Writing and editing positions with the Odyssey are a great way to get experience writing for a publication and add a diverse range of writing samples to a portfolio. We also have positions with a focus in photography, social media and marketing.
Responsibilities
As a writer, you will select a few sections that you are interested in writing about and work with your managing editor to find the best one for you. You will submit a weekly article online within that section and include photos. You will also be in charge of a featured spread 1-2 times a year.Requirements
Must be able to submit one article per weekAbility to hit deadlines consistently
Ability to take photos to add to the article (via high-quality camera phone or camera)
Knowledge of AP Style not required, but preferred
