Job Summary:Performs receptionist and concierge duties in the LaSalle Lobby on behalf of Bank and building tenants. Answers questions from building occupants (employees and tenants) and from visitors and guests. Serves as main contact for visitor entry into the Bank by facilitating entry process and maintaining appropriate records. Maintains a working knowledge of all areas of the Bank and Tenant functions. Maintains relationships with departmental and tenant hosts. Provides assistance in directing visitors and administrative needs for meetings and tours. Works closely with Law Enforcement Unit and Hospitality services. Provides administrative support related to numerous activities. The level of work required is considered intermediate and staff work under general supervision. This job does not have any direct reports.
Requirements
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Serves as receptionist and concierge for information desk in the LaSalle Lobby: provides information and assistance to employees, tenants, and visitors as needed; answers questions related to Bank and provides Bank information pamphlets if requested on various subjects; may serve as information resource to visitors by answering non-Bank related questions such as directions to other Chicago addresses, restaurant recommendations, transportation options.
Keeps updated information on new employees, visitors, and tenants
Obtains approval from employees and tenants to provide guests access into the building
Issues Visitor and Temporary employee badges and maintains registry of issuance; works collaboratively with Law Enforcement staff to reconcile and collect those badges still outstanding
Arranges for escorts when necessary
Assists the Protection Department in monitoring activities in the main lobby
Works closely with Corporate Communications Public Affairs staff to facilitate scheduled and walk-in tours
Verifies property pass authorizations as needed
Provides Sears Parking lot approvals as needed
Uses interpersonal skills to handle difficult customers
Performs other duties as assigned
