DescriptionAccountemps is seeking a Credit Clerk for our client in the banking industry, located in Munster, Indiana. The candidate will be responsible for transaction services. Specifically some of the duties will include:
*Meets department timelines.
*Perform assigned credit maintenance in an accurate manner.
*Independently resolve basic/standard customer inquiries and issues; utilize appropriate personnel and resources.
*Demonstrates knowledge competency in card management and processing.
*Complete quarterly development goals.
*Reports customer affecting errors.
*Independently performs assigned tasks accurately and compliant with operational procedures.
*Perform special assignments, projects, or other work related duties as assigned to ensure strategic support.
*Excellent communication skills, verbal and listening.
*Basic computer user skills.
*Reasoning ability - ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
*Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
*Attention to detail.
*Basic knowledge of transaction processing in a banking environment.
