Job Purpose:

Data quality and stewardship are top priorities for the organization. The Enterprise Data Program's (EDP) mission is to enhance data quality and integrity by maturing data management practices. The Data Analyst will engage and foster relationships with business and technology stakeholder to:

  • Drive strategic EDP initiatives to understand, manage, and measure enterprise data quality
  • Provide operational support related to critical data-driven business processes
  • Promote the vision of EDP and the Enterprise Business Transformation Office

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Promote frameworks that support the vision and strategy for enterprise data governance and data management
  • Implement methodologies for enterprise data stewardship change management, issue management, impact analysis, and root cause analysis
  • Support operational teams in implementation and execution of standardized procedures that support data governance objectives
  • Aid in the development of data quality, risk, and performance measurement and optimization
  • Manage relationships and promote enterprise project collaboration with businesses and technology stakeholders at various levels of management
  • Create and enhance data related business processes to better facilitate and strengthen coordination of the enterprise flow of data
  • Aid in the implementation of a framework for access control and an entitlements taxonomy
  • Evaluate tools and technology to support enterprise data management and data governance
  • Provide thought leadership and training on data management, data quality, and data stewardship related topics

Competencies for Success/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Technology * 4+ years of Information technology experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with strategy, planning, and business analysis
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience managing process improvement initiatives
  • Direct experience with creating strategic frameworks and operating procedures
  • Experience facilitating and coordination of operational functions
  • Strong skills in data analysis, information assessment, and data quality review
  • Moderate technical skills MS Access / MS Excel / SQL / various data analysis and reporting / business intelligence tools
  • Understanding of change and issue management methodologies
  • Demonstration of the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to objectively analyze and evaluate issues
  • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
