This position is for a RTL and Formal Verification Design Automation Intern for the design team in the Intel Custom Foundry Group. Intel Custom Foundry Group is Intel's exciting new venture into collaborating with Industry hardware leaders and bringing their products onto Intel's leading edge process technology. The Design Automation team within Intel Custom Foundry Design Team is looking for talented individuals who wish to be a part of this experience of building the Industry's next generation products. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Develop automation flows on Industry standard Formal Verification and RTL verification tools to enable designers to conduct effective equivalence checks.
Develop efficient mechanisms to test, regress the flows to make it production quality
Provide productive and efficient methods to solve design problems as they arise.
Support team of engineers with issues in formal equivalence verification and RTL verification.
Drive innovation and initiatives to enhance existing automation, tools and methodology.
The successful candidate must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science (Master of Science preferred) program in Electrical Engineering. Additional qualifications include:
Proficiency in Perl, TCL, Shell scripting
Through understanding of digital designs - RTL, Logic implementation, circuits
Experience writing RTL and/or verifying RTL using industry standard Tools
Be able to thrive in a fast paced, challenging environment
Self-driven with ability to prioritize work and accomplish tasks quickly with good problem solving skills.
Must be detail oriented
Solid written and verbal communication for expressing technical ideas and initiatives
