Robert Half Technology is recruiting for a Desktop Support Professional on a contract or contract to hire basis for a local company located in the greater Raleigh Metro area.
Requirements and Responsibilities Include:
A Minimum of 4-5 Years prior Desktop related work experience is a Must.
A minimum of 2-3 Years of Troubleshooting in a Windows Environment, using Windows Remote Desktop, Citrix, and Active Directory.
Provide 1st and 2nd tier support to identify, investigate and resolve many hardware and software related technical problems via Helpdesk, Email as well as On Site.
Support Applications, Printers, Storage Systems and Networking infrastructure.
Monitor internal help desk system for the delegation, assignment and/or completion of trouble tickets.
Knowledge of HEAT, Magic, Remedy or other Ticketing systems is a must.
Strong Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and 2008.
Expert understanding of VPN Clients, Cisco, Citrix, or Windows Remote Desktop.
Expert understanding of WAN/LAN Administration.
Experience Troubleshooting Hardware, PCs, laptops, BlackBerry, iPhone, and Android Devices.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments.
Demonstrated ability to manage work schedules, project and task priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desire to interact with end users or clients on the phone or in person in a courteous, professional manner.
A successful candidate will also possess an MCITP Certification and 5+ Years experience.
