Special Spaces Pittsburgh is a 501(c)3 non-profit chapter of the national Special Spaces, Inc. Our mission is simple but zealous. It is to create dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening illnesses. A place that only the child can dream or imagine while addressing their medical needs. Where does a child go battling a life-challenging to find peace and comfort? Special Spaces was founded in July 2004 on the precedent that children battling a life-threatening illness needed their own special space. It is a special space of hope and inspiration and a place to find peace and comfort.

Responsibilities:

- Research potential partner organizations and businesses, and initiate first contacts.
- Brainstorming new marketing and outreach ideas
- Some administrative work as necessary

Requirements:

- Undergraduate/Graduate Student/Graduate
- Technologically Savy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Self-starter, ability to work well alone or with others.
