Description
The Philly Friendship Circle's main focus is to help families who have children with special needs by involving them in a full range of social and Jewish experiences. The Circle's unique formula introduces teenage volunteers to the children and their families, and serves as an effective catalyst to foster leadership/volunteerism among teens.
Responsibilities
- Gathering and presenting photos creatively
- Putting together a cyber ad journal
- Some video editing a possibility
- Aiding in the preparation and execution of the annual gala
- Working with donors if applicable
Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Self-motivated
- Should be comfortable with Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and social media
- Sensitivity to the special needs population and to all youth in general as well as a strong work ethic are a must.
