Description
H.E.L.P. is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented and events-driven Development Intern for Spring and/or Summer 2013. The Intern will report directly to the Development Director and will primarily focus on our annual fundraising event.Responsibilities
Areas of work will include:distributing thank you letters to supporters
preparing donor materials
supporting all administrative responsibilities for the fundraising event
Identify ad research prospective donors
Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills requiredSelf-starter and committed to deadlines
Highly detail-oriented
Firm grasp on hospitality and event-planning
Experience in SalesForce or similar data management system is a plus
Interest in international development and nonprofit issues
Strong commitment to the H.E.L.P. mission
