Description
H.E.L.P. is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented and events-driven Development Intern for Spring 2013. The Intern will report directly to the Development Director and will primarily focus on our annual youth fundraising event.
Responsibilities
Areas of work will include:
preparing donor materials
assisting in creating timelines, invitations, and bookings
supporting all administrative responsibilities for the fundraising event
Identify and research prospective donors
Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Self-starter and committed to deadlines
Highly detail-oriented
Firm grasp on hospitality and event-planning
Experience in SalesForce or similar data management system is a plus
Interest in international development and nonprofit issues
Previous work with teens is a plus
Strong commitment to the H.E.L.P. mission
