APPLY at www.centerstage.org/Education/ProfessionalInternshipProgram.aspx THE DIGITAL MEDIA INTERN will be directly involved in the planning, shooting, and editing of video. Additional tasks may include still photography, the use of display content management system for scheduling in-house display systems, and the creation of other digital content for use online. Applicants should have experience using a mid-level HD video camera and a DSLR camera for both video and still photography; an understanding of basic sound and light equipment; a moderate proficiency with FinalCut Pro X on the Mac OS, Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite products and an aptitude for learning new software and content management systems; solid people skills and comfort conducting interviews; an ability to juggle multiple priorities; experience uploading, tagging, and providing descriptions for videos on CENTERSTAGE’s YouTube and Vimeo channels; a proficiency in digital marketing and social media with an ability to comprehend YouTube and Google Analytics and how it affects future videos. Proficient web/HTML skills will be useful but are not required. Samples of video work must be provided.ABOUT THE PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Graduating college seniors and recent graduates are invited to apply to CENTERSTAGE’s 2013-14 Professional Internship Program, which provides hands-on experience and professional guidance to early-career artists, craftspeople, and administrators. Interns at the Baltimore-based LORT B/C theater work full time from mid-August to early June, enjoying benefits that include free housing, a weekly stipend, networking opportunities, and professional development.
