Tavaana: E-Learning Institute for Iranian Civil Society is accepting intern applications Tavaana E-Learning Institute for Iranian Civil Society seeks college seniors and graduate students of the highest caliber with interest in the fields of digital media, human rights, and liberation technology. Tavaana interns are given substantial work in digital media production, website management, and social media. Digital media interns interact closely with Tavaana's staff and in-house experts. Though the Tavaana internship program is unpaid, participants gain marketable skills and networking opportunities. Tavaana internships are an exciting opportunity to work at the nexus of technology, education and democratic change. Interns are often promoted to full-time employment positions with benefits. In-office and virtual internship opportunities are available. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Internships last approximately 4 months and can be extended depending on interns' availability. Applications from individuals outside the Washington, DC area are welcome for virtual internships.

About the Tavaana E-Learning Institute for Iranian Civil Society Tavaana – meaning 'empowered' and 'capable' in Persian – is an e-learning space for Iranian civil society. Through partnerships with international universities and civic training organizations, and in collaboration with leading Iranian scholars and civic leaders, Tavaana empowers Iranian civil society.
