DescriptionAt Spirits Landing, the Programs Director will oversee the programs that are administered by Spirits Landing Inc., managing some human resources aspects as well as new student recruitment. Candidate must be extremely motivated and acutely focused on the needs of the population being served and our mission at all times. This position requires excellent research skills in finding and keeping up with what is current and innovative in education and human growth and development tools for our young ladies.
Responsibilities• Must be able to improve upon current curriculum as well as create original and innovative curriculum/study for the population being served.
•Program directors serve as the face of Spirits Landing and their programs to the external community
• Program director works with the executive director of an organization to create programs to be administered.
•Develops and implements all guidelines and policies with the purpose of ensuring compliance with all government regulations, as well as maintaining alignment with the organization's mission.
•Monitors the effectiveness of the program, making adjustments as needed.
•Human resources duties, such as the recruitment and training of employees as well as recruitment of new students for each program.
Program Director will be depended upon to do regular research of new human growth and development tools to add to our current programming in order to streamline student successes.
Requirements•Program director may be required to interact with people in crisis.
•Must be well organized and adept at performing many tasks at once.
•Must also be able to communicate effectively with people of all demographics.
•Because many programs may be dependent on public or private funds, the program director must be meticulous in all notes and documentation.
Must maintain a passion for what she is doing.
•Minimum of 2 years of experience.
•Four-year degree in sociology, public administration or organizational development desired
