DescriptionPinks and Greens, www.PinksandGreens.com, is looking to hire an e-commerce strategist. We want to hire a bright, energetic individual who is a hard worker and excellent multi-tasker. This is at a start-up company where you will be getting your hands dirty and be involved in everything, so be ready. We need like-minded people to help us: creative, inspired, dynamic, spectacular individuals who believe, like we do, that a woman wants to look good while exercising-whether it be golf, tennis or hitting the gym and we need to help them to find the best pieces for them.
You will be responsible driving the overall web strategy (user experience, customer acquisition, analytics, marketing, etc. We do not have the luxury of having a full time person in each one of these roles since we are a startup, so you will be wearing many hats.
Responsibilities-Oversee the user experience to provide consistency, simplicity, and value
-Stay current with new and developing --ecommerce technology and strategies
-Develop guidelines and objectives to drive customer acquisition, e-commerce, sales, and retention as well as market awareness
-Create and develop content and web tools that will inspire web visitors, driving an increasing rate of return visitors, inquiries, qualified leads and conversion
-Evaluate website performance, assess results, and make continuous improvements by examining data and making recommendations to internal clients to evolve site content and web tools to maximize effectiveness
-Identify needs for new technologies and lead requirements building to vendor evaluation to implementation
-Coordinate with developers, web host, etc. . . regarding on going projects
Requirements-Previous experiencing working in e-commerce in all or some of the areas of focus(marketing, IT, Customer acquisition, analytics)
-Bachelor's degree and interest in the retail fashion field. • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)Experience with CRM tools, E-Commerce platform, Web Analytics and other E-Commerce-related systems.
-Multi-tasker by nature who can manage multiple processes with a high level of quality and consistency.
-Analytical acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving.
-Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way.
-Knowledge of current eCommerce trends, strategies, and techniques
-Experience with CRM tools, E-Commerce platform, Web Analytics and other E-Commerce-related systems.
-We would consider a candidate who has previously worked in e-commerce and has left the workforce for the last year or 2 and wants to get back in on a part time basis
