Under the direction of managing and assistant editors, intern will be responsible for various projects relating to the editing and publishing of the association’s magazine, journal and newsletter, including: proofreading articles for grammar, punctuation and clarity; writing occasional columns; monitoring criminal justice-related news outlets; and updating and maintaining database files. Other administrative projects will be assigned as needed. Send cover letter and resume to SusanC@aca.org, with “Editorial Intern” in the subject line. If you have a writing sample, you may also attach it to your email in Microsoft Word format, or provide a link to a website.
