Imagitas is hiring an editorial intern for the 2013 spring/summer term (March – August). The intern’s primary objective will be creating helpful, authoritative content for our consumer-facing website, MyMove.com. As the editorial intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), social media and corporate blogging.

Responsibilities
Duties include:
• Building relationships with websites for content exchanges
• Pitching blog post topics to editors and interviewing experts
• Writing blog posts for the MyMove.com blog
• Assisting the editorial team with blog publishing, formatting and styling
• Editing copy for grammar, punctuation, style and consistency
• Commenting on blog posts
• Measuring success of outreach campaigns using analytics and SEO tools
Requirements
We’re looking for a creative, inquisitive, outgoing person who yearns to develop new skills and make a lasting impact. You should be full of energy, positivity and ideas. Writing should come easily to you, and you should have a desire to learn and be a contributing member of our tight-knit team. A sense of humor is a must.
Qualifications
• College junior, senior, grad student or recent grad with a Communications, English, Journalism or Marketing major
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable editing skills with a sharp eye for style and consistency
• Experience writing for the web and contributing to social media campaigns
• Familiarity with AP style
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
