Seeking an editorial intern to write web articles for Amour Creole magazine.

Amour Creole is a national magazine with a Haitian/Caribbean demographic. We have published two successful test issues and are now launching the print version of our magazine starting with the May issue. We must now fill our website with content on health, money, fashion, beauty, culture and entertainment.

If interested in this non-paying internship, please email clips and a resume. Please also email four story ideas from any of the above categories.

The editorial intern will work closely with the magazine's editorial director on gathering and shaping story ideas, finding a voice, sourcing articles, interviewing sources, APA styling and general writing and story shaping.

This internship is telecommute. We have writers throughout the country since our magazine is national but if living in the Boston area, attending Friday staff meetings at the magazine's office is a great option for an intern to see the inner workings of magazine production.

Knowledge of Haitian or other Caribbean cultures is a plus.
