Hollywood Scriptwriter magazine (HS) is an international trade publication that profiles screenwriters, producers and directors. If you are a good writer who likes the Hollywood scene, this internship is for you.

Currently, HS has 10 credit/non-credit internship opportunities for those pursuing journalism careers. Students or graduates are encouraged to apply immediately. We are looking for those interested in working in the following areas as interns: reporter, editorial assistant, public relations, advertising and marketing.

The hours/days are flexible.

Internships can be short or long-term and for college credit or professional experience.

Responsibilities

Write articles
Interview screenwriters, producers and directors
Edit
Proofread
Write press releases
Market Hollywood Scriptwriter globally
Research
Basic office tasks

Requirements

The uniqueness about Hollywood Scriptwriter's internship program is that you do not get coffee and donuts, but when you write an article it gets published. If you write a press release, it gets distributed globally. For this reason, the interns at HS must be able to write, work in a professional environment, be able to interview celebrities and have a good personality. We do not teach the basics, instead, we perfect your skills by giving you real-world experience to be able to build your resume and portfolio.
