LZ Technology is currently recruiting an undergrad student to place at an aerospace company in the Clear Lake/Houston area. This is for the spring semester 2013. Estimated start date is 1/07/2013. San Jacinto College's Continuing & Professional Development Division is managing this internship opportunity. Students get the chance to work alongside aerospace engineers, project managers and staff members on projects related to space travel supporting NASA. Pay rate: Approximately $12.00-$19.25
Responsibilities
Student will work 16-20 hours per week onsite at the sponsor company’s location in Clear Lake during the semester, Monday–Friday during regular business hours, work hours are arranged around the student’s class schedule.
Requirements
Qualifications include:
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• GPA at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Must be a US citizen
• A minimum of two years completed towards a BS degree in Engineering
